Sintermetali Ltd is a producer of metal powdered parts and details. The production method used by the company is known as the method of Powder Metallurgy (PM). The main sintered products manufactured by the company could be divided into four main groups:
- Structural parts
- Antifriction parts
- Soft magnetic parts
- High porous parts

The factory is located in the picturesque outskirts of the town of Svoge, which lies 45 km to the North of the Bulgarian capital - Sofia. As one of the main towns in the Sofia district, Svoge has good transport and communication infrastructure, including a railway station. The town is famous for the chocolate products factory, which has been acquired by Kraft Foods-Bulgaria.

history in brief

The factory was founded in 1970 as a production division of the Institute For Powder Metallurgy in Sofia. A cornerstone in the development of the company was the relocation to new production site in 1977. Mainly in the 80-ies the factory was renewed and broadened its production equipment with new presses, sintering furnaces and tool making machines. Following the political changes in the counrty, the company was gradually privatized.

The factory was designed to supply the engineering industry in Bulgaria with large volumes of metal powdered parts. For that reason the company was equipped with highly productive machines that ensure the complete cycle of the Powder Metallurgy process - tool making machines, mixers, high-capacity presses, sintering furnaces, equipment for secondary operations, measuring instruments for the laboratory, etc.Some of the major equipment includes 200 and 400-ton Yoshizuka presses, 200-ton Mannesmann press, 200 and 400-ton Busmann Simetag presses, Dorst press, Cremer and Elino sintering furnaces, Degussa and Ipsen heat treatment furnaces, oil impregnation facility.
